ICTR Training and Career Development Core
K (Career Development) and T (Training Grant) Scholars' Program
The ICTR Training and Career Develop Core develops and supports pre- and postdoctoral students as well as junior faculty through advanced didactic coursework, practical training in conducting research, exposure to innovative research approaches and technology, “hands-on” mentored research experience, and comprehensive training and career development activities designed to create an environment that encourages an interdisciplinary approach and maximizes the probability of successful careers in clinical and pre-clinical translational research. In partnership with JHU, scholars gain broad knowledge of the translational research pathway, develop the skills to adapt and enhance translational research models and collaborate within multidisciplinary team environments to advance and generate new knowledge to improve human health.
